Couples counseling includes married couples, premarital couples, separated or divorced couples, cohabitating couples, committed life partnerships, non-monogamous couples, and same sex/queer couples.
At this practice, I utilize systemic modalities in couples therapy to help partners understand and improve the dynamics of their relationship. Rather than focusing on one individual, we explore how patterns of communication, family history, and relational roles impact the couple as a whole. Through approaches such as Structural Family Therapy, Bowenian Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, I work with couples to identify and shift unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional connection, and foster healthier, more supportive interactions—helping you move toward lasting and meaningful change together.
In individual therapy, I take a holistic, client-centered approach that considers both personal history and the larger systems that shape your life. We will explore how past relationships, family dynamics, and current patterns influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I integrate somatic therapies to help you reconnect with your body and process emotions stored physically, as well as experiential techniques that create space for deeper insight and meaningful change. This integrative approach supports healing, self-awareness, and personal growth in a grounded, supportive environment!
